Logistics & Registration

To register for NYUMUNC XVII, please refer to our Registration Page and fill out the registration form. A confirmation message will be sent to you within 12-24 hours confirming your registration and delineating pertinent details for next steps.

The conference will be held on campus near 70 Washington Square S, New York, NY 10012 (Bobst Library), and the rooms used for committee sessions are dispersed throughout buildings all within close proximity to the preceding address.
The directorate has secured multiple Hotel Deals for delegations attending, outlined below:

Arrival/Departure: April 16-19, 2026 – 15 rooms per night
Standard Single King Bedded Rooms – $339+/per night
Hampton Inn Chelsea

Arrival/Departure: April 16-19, 2026 – 15 rooms per night
Single Bedded Rooms – $249+/per night
Double Bedded Rooms – $269+/per night
NOTE: All rates are per night, per room, not inclusive of taxes. Taxes are currently 14.75% and $3.50 per night.
Delegations will have 30 days before arrival to make their reservations (provided there are rooms still available within the block).
Each individual reservation holds a 14-day cancellation policy. Any cancellations made 14 days or less prior to arrival will be subject to one night room and tax.
Individuals will make their own reservations directly with the Hotel’s Reservations Department. Please reference the university and organization you are a part of and the name of the conference: NYUMUNC XVII.
Other hotel recommendations include: The Jane Hotel, Washington Square Hotel, Orchard Street Hotel, Solita SoHo Hotel, U Hotel, Ridge Hotel, Nolita Hotel, Hyatt Hotel, Belvedere Hotel, East Village Hotel, and The Gatsby Hotel. -

As one of the most competitive and innovative platforms for discussing the world’s key breakthroughs and pressing issues, we want to encourage delegates from across the globe to address multimodal geopolitical, humanitarian, and technological challenges while upholding the tenets of diplomacy and collaboration. -
NYUMUNC will be using CP-SAT (Constraint Programming with SAT) from Google OR-Tools to handle committee assignments.

NYUMUNC XVII is committed to accepting delegations of any size up to 16 delegates.

There will be one Head Delegate Meeting / Feedback Session each day of the conference. More information regarding timing can be found here.
During the Conference

There will be a delegates’ social on Saturday, April 18th from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM; the location will be announced shortly.

Following the last committee session (excluding Committee Session 7 | FunMUN), committee staff will stay in their respective rooms and begin deliberating on awards. The following factors will be taken into consideration: Moderated and Unmoderated Caucuses (Speech Material, Speaking, and Bloc Building), Motions, For and Against Speeches, Authors’ Panel Contributions, Bloc Leadership, etc.
